We've been to Bates Memorial Play Area a few times now and it never fails to impress, the kids are always entertained and the setting is lovely, with plenty of green space to run around

We visited Bates Memorial Play Area on a weekday morning and it was lovely and quiet, the kids had a fantastic time and the playground was immaculately clean

The play area is well-maintained and the kids loved the variety of equipment, the only downside is that there aren't any toilets nearby, but overall a great spot for a picnic and play

Lovely play area with a nice selection of equipment, the kids had a great time on the swings and see-saw, although the picnic benches could do with a bit of a clean

It's a nice enough play area, but some of the equipment is looking a bit worn out, the kids still had fun though and we liked the fact it's set back from the road
